It’s kind of fun the first ten or so times you read these books. Then it dawns on you: Children’s books are really quite boring for adults. Especially those 5 pound board books with 5 pages (exception for treatises on existentialism such as “Goodnight Moon”). By my estimate, we have about 30 books for the Zubster. Some of them are great like this one word masterpiece Hug. I tell a different story every time I read it. Really though, where is the children’s book exhange? There should be some book lending service like Netflix for kids books. I know the library, but c’mon in this day and age I should not have to go out for a kids book if I can get my Oscar picks delivered. Just an idea.
