Hey NYCDAD. This is my first time commenting on your website. I took a look around. Nice place you have here.

Anyway, my wife April and I are expecting our first in the next two months, and I've been thinking a lot about how our lives will change too when we have a little one around.

Just like you, we love to travel, especially when we need a break from work. Since we live in Spain, we'll usually just pick a new city to see and go for the weekend. These weekends have been some of the best times in my life.

I very rarely hear anyone complain about having a little baby in the house, but I'm almost certain the kind of traveling we've done in the past is coming to end. For starters, we haven't taken one of these weekend trips since we've been pregnant. I'm positive we won't now that the baby could be born very soon. I suppose we're in the process of reinventing ourselves in a way, finding new ways to relax and have fun with the new addition to the family.
