So apparently our little tyke has reached the age of academic entry: 1.4 years. That’s according to the application for “preschool practice” program that we are considering. Let’s just lay out the time line here: Pre-school practice, pre-school, nursery school?, kindergarten. I’m not sure about all of this, but it seems like someone is taking advantage of overzealous, over-monied working parents. Pre-school practice focuses on: separation anxiety management, group play and communication. Corrrect me if I am off here but aren’t these things indicators of a child being too young to be in a school environment. If we just waited until they could perhaps understand and speak a bit better wouldn’t things have been “managed” already? Without the $12,000 dollar bill? (Yes you read that right).
